NIRWN's mission is to advance rural women's equality and participation in society by articulating and amplifying women's voices at local, regional and strategic level.
NIRWN is seeking to appoint a Regional Development Officer (Skills) to this innovative organisation jointly funded by DARD and DSD. This is a fixed-term contract until 31st March 2010.
Regional Development Officer (Skills)
Purpose of post
To provide training and skills development support to rural women across NI, to develop skills and increase their capacity. To facilitate rural women's input to policy, increase their capacity to participate in decision-making, develop their lobbying, project and community development skills and make strong and strategic links at local county level which will support the development of the NIRWN as a representative and inclusive regional network. This post will be based in Cookstown.
